The following are images I've captured over the past week following Tropical Storm Irene's impacts on the region. I'd like to send a special thanks to our dear friends Greg and Sue, as many of these pictures were taken at their home and are being shown here with their permission. Greg and Sue's situation is a nutshell example of what thousands of Vermont residents are dealing with RIGHT NOW. If you are able, please find a way to help.

Living near these rivers is like living with a criminal, bi-polar, violent tantrum prone relative -- so tranquil and scenic when confined to their valley but when they come roaring out of their banks, look out. The rivers look so inocent now but we had better remember.. Great photos. thanks Quinn.

ReplyDeleteHi Quinn,
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if the Spaulding school newspaper uses a couple of your pics (giving you photo credit, of course)? I can give you more info if you need it.
